Accuracy without exception

Reading in the news about the lapses of some pharmaceutical companies, I am reminded of why I am here doing what I do. It is a huge responsibility that none of us takes lightly. However, using my knowledge to do good and protect people is one of the reasons why I chose to become a chemist in the first place. It is also why I am proud to work here at LNK.

Our Quality Assurance people collect samples of every batch of product produced and deliver it to our Lab for testing. We follow the exact procedure outlined in the USP, the United States Pharmacopeia, and if a method does not exist, we develop one and validate it.  To obtain the most accurate results possible we use several methods including high-pressure liquid chromatography equipment, also called HPLC.

As lab chemists, we check each and every batch of product produced at LNK to make sure that it has the correct amount of active ingredient indicated on the package. No exceptions. No uncertainty. No excuses. No shades of gray. It is either correct or it is not.

We also document the results of each test we perform. Once testing is completed, we send it on to our Quality Assurance department where it becomes part of the batch records and provides critical backup for us and for our customers.
